As a creative force in her family, professional, and social life, Meira has always actively been involved in one aspect or another of fashion. As a teenager, she served as clothing buyer for her family's retail stores in Germany. In her twenties, she learned the diamond business in Israel and soon after, moved to Belgium with her husband to further her diamond education.
In the early 1970's, she moved to New York where she designed a full line of children's sweaters. Meira's sweaters were sold primarily in New York in many Madison Avenue boutiques and major children's departments stores. However, she soon had to return to her original calling of diamonds and jewelry.

The Meira T collection has a unique flair that conveys a combination of creativity and contemporary fashion. Meira prides herself on designing jewelry that the independent women will and can want to buy for themselves and those they're close to. Sophistication, elegance, and value are what drive her collections and we at Classic Designs are incredibly happy to carry them in our Venice, FL store.
Meira began designing for IDI in the early 1990's. Her inspiration comes from her European and Middle Eastern background, which is clear in all of her designs. With time, she has developed a line that is sold in fine jewelry stores...like Classic Creations!
With such delicate yet powerful designs, it's easy to see why Meira T is so popular. Her lines include jewelry collections called "Faith," which brings a religious iconography and beautiful jewelry together in a lovely way, "Fleur," which is a line based on the famous fleur de lis design, and "Cyclicality," which highlights many different ways circles can be made into gorgeous jewelry.
Her designs have been featured in a great many magazines such as Sports Illustrated, InStyle, the Knot, Cosmo, Brides, Philadelphia St., Essence, Hamptons, Wedding Style, Forbes Life: Executive Woman, and Maxim. Stars the likes of Christie Brinkley, Kim Stolz, and Tyra Banks (many times on the Tyra Banks Show) have been seen wearing Meira T designs. Her jewelry has even been on the soap opera All My Children! As if that wasn't interesting enough, she also created a sterling silver and diamond soda tab necklace in connection to a diet Coke ad campaign!
Come in today and ask one of our friendly and helpful jewelry associates to show you the Meira T line of jewelry. We'll help you find that perfect piece to compliment your style or to make a memorable gift for someone special!
