Giving Back

Venice Area Chamber of Commerce

Evan has played an active role in the Venice Area Chamber of Commerce for many years. He's hosted events, served on the Board for 6 years, served as Chairman from '16-17, and regularly sponsors VACC programs.

Child Protection Center

CPC is a local NPO fighting against child abuse. CPC was instrumental in helping the Duke family years ago and will forever hold a special place in their hearts. The Dukes helped establish the annual Night of Hope & Healing event and continue with yearly partnerships.

United Way

Evan has served on the UWSSC Board from 1995-2021, sitting each office including 4 terms as President. Evan created the successful 'Fish United Way' fundraiser in addition to helping create the UWSSC Foundation, for which he's also served on the Board.

Venice Little League

Chuck and Sylvia began the tradition of sponsoring a Venice Little League baseball team almost 40 decades ago when Evan was a young player himself. Evan happily continues this tradition today and sponsors a team each year.
